Photography as Hobby
I bought Nikon D50 2 months ago to start this new hobby of photography. As newbie,
you desire to immediately get the most out of the camera. So i read bunch of photography “how-to” articles online and bought a book. The more I read, the more I realize that this hobby is expensive more than as I expected.
Though not required, most of the references I read suggest to get extra tools to have a “Tack Sharp” shots. Tack sharp is the term pro photographers use to describe the ultimate level of sharpness. Movement is the killer. So I need to save money to get these extras:
a) Tripod - shooting from tripod separates the amateur from pros. Using tripod minimizes any movement.
b) Cable Release or Wireless Remote - when you press the shutter button on the camera, it makes the camera move just to keep your photos from being tack sharp.
I’ll post some photos as result of this little investment.
